Spatial relationships is the ability to perceive the positions of objects in relation to oneself and/or other objects. A person who has difficulty in this area may struggle with spelling tasks and with concepts of “up”, “down”, “front”, “back”, “left” and “right”. You may also see confusion in the letters “b, d, p, q” or inconsistent reversals of letters and numbers. Reading charts, maps or diagrams may also be difficult.
