Visual memory is the ability to remember the detail of a shape within a small amount of time and then be able to choose the identical shape from other similar shapes. The ability to retain this information over a small amount of time is important for one’s reading comprehension. This can also affect a person’s ability to accurately recall information and possibly even reproduce characteristics of the item. You may see difficulty when copying material, possibly only able to remember and thus copy one letter or figure at a time. Remembering sight words may also become problematic.
